This year's Solitude Run can without exaggeration be described as an event of superlatives. A total of 2,444 runners aged between three and 85 were at the start, representing an increase of 279 participants compared to the previous year. Among the adults, 589 participants competed in the disciplines of 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon, while 107 children and adolescents took part in the subsequent races. Despite adverse weather conditions, the joy of the participants was immense to run together again and be cheered on by spectators.

Highlights

  • The winner of the half marathon was the German champion in the 100 km race, Katrin Ochs (LG Filder), with a time of 1:26:49, which was 2:44 seconds faster than last year's winner.
  • The first place in the men's half marathon went to Yevgen Okeniev from the Mira Hoffnung Run, who improved his previous year's result by 2:07 with a time of 1:11:56.
  • Stephanie Mosler (KSG-Runningteam) won the 10 km race with a time of 40:02, followed by Anna-Sophie Lang and Silke Steingrube.
